About the Department
With the objective of imparting quality education in the discipline of Commerce to the student community belongs to rural area, our college established the Post graduate Department of Commerce in 2008. In the long run many great teachers served in this Department. At present Dr.Laxmikantha Nayaka T. O. heading the Department, with the support of faculties Sri. S M Bhosage, Sri. V S Khot and Smt. S D Joshi.
The Department shall strive to become a Centre of Excellence in developing the students for variety of challenging careers in all fields of the economy thereby contributing to the prosperity and development of the country. The Department regularly conducts Seminars, Special Lecture Programs, Extension Activities, Classroom Activities and Workshops for the benefit of the students. The Department has produced more than 400 Post Graduate students. It is a great pleasure to the Department to announce that Miss. Babibatul Desai grabbed the 3rd Rank to Rani Channamma University Belagavi in the academic year 2022-23.
